MINI faults that is. It wasn't until I started reading all the boards that my MINI started acting up..maybe it is a communicable disease or something. I've developed the boot knock, the steering wheel "clicking", rattling from all over in the dash and doors, and a high mount taillight lens separating from the housing....

and I still love to drive it....go figure

I still think it was an intern project, too many things not quite thought completely through. My only real complaint about the car is it's schizophrenic nature, suspension set up to handle tight corners, but no power down low. Been driving it for 6 months and still forget I have to drop 2 gears to get some snappy acceleration.....shoulda got an S I guess

I beleive a lot of the rattles and sqeeks would never been noticed except people go out of their way too listen and look for them after reading about them.
