| MINI2 Regular | Just to let all the new mini owners i have had my Cooper modified and should be featured in Performance BMW. The mods will be Cobra Opus front seats in black leather with red leather inners and red sticking, the back seats will be leathered to match. It will also have 18" alloys Magnex exhaust and new disc's and pad changed with tarox drilled discs. The suspension will be fully adjustable spax, it will be fitted with an carbon fibre induction kit and superchip. The ICE will be Alpine head unit with changer V12 amp pioneer 6" 9" read Panels and Kappi reference speakers for front doors. The only problem is when the front seats have been removed the Airbag light comes on anyone know how to disable PIC to follow Last edited by Paul Simonds : Mar 10th, 2002 at 02:30 PM. |

| MINI2 Crash Test Driver | Wicked! I'm an avid reader of PBMW and it lacks minis at the moment! Your based in Haywards Heath, that's where I live (most of the time), nice to know that there's decent modding going on close to home! Keep it up! | MINI2 Regular | Re: Performance BMW An earlier post on repairing squeaky seats showed a way of disabling the sensor before removing the seat, then replacing it afterwards. If you do not do this, the light comes on and can only be reset by a dealer. Try a search for posts on squeaky seats to find it. Hang on a minute lads, i ve got a great idea. - Michael Caine |

| MINI2 Crash Test Driver | Re: Re: Performance BMW I've heard mixed things back about dealers helping people with modified cars. On the one hand they don't like their creations being fiddled with & on the other hand, they like the extra publicity and support it by sponsoring prices for best modified cars. | MINI2 Regular | Cobra I spoke to Cobra direct as i have a friend who knows the MD, i got a very good deal as they fitted them as well. I think the cost through www.Larkspeed.com is £530 per seat in Black leather with pipeing and then you would need to get a guy to do the rear in matching leather which will cost roughly £400.00 I have now had the ICE fitted Alpine TDA 7588RB with Changer. Alpine V12 4 channel Amp F407, pioneer 6 x 9 rear speakes and 6.5 Infinity component speakers which are a pig to fit. What do you think |
