Offline | I remember reading something about the a new mini coming out next year, i have searched for any info but with no luck! Has anyone any info on this because I guess if it's a major styling change then this will effect the re-sell price on the current mini which I am about to order! Cheers |

Offline | new 05 mini Hello everyone Can anyone tell me when the new 05 mdl Mini will be available to order ? There seems to be lots of stuff on here about the convertible but nothing about when the 05 tin top will actually go on sale. Reason I'm asking is that I was on the verge of ordering a Cooper after spending months researching/test driving various Mini models. I'd rather hang off now and get the 05 model though if it's just around the corner. Also, does anyone know if BMW are going to use this as an excuse to jack up the prices ? I wouldn't put it past them but I'd appreciate if someone could tell me the official line. Thanks. |

Offline | Paul is the guy with the inside info, but from what I have seen posted on the site already is that it is possible that is could be from Launch of the cabrio that the rest of the range gets the facelift. But then also that there is a slight possibility that is could be more like Sept. I am sure as soon as Paul has something concrete it will be posted up on MINI2 ![]() The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |

Offline | Mr Magik, I'm pretty sure *cough* that the "facelifted" MINIs are still R50, R53 & R52, the other numbers are next gen. MINIs. There aint no party like my nana's tea party |

Offline | Thanks for that info guys. I read in Autocar today that the facelifted Mini would have a 'new engine'. That's the first I've heard about it. Anyone know if this is a red herring ? |
