United-Kingdom Deposits??

Looking to order a new MC soon, i'd imagine most people have been in this position so any help is appreciated.

How much do you have to put down on ordering?
Do you pay remainder of deposit on collection?

Thanks

My dealership took 250 GBP back in 2002

BTW, you must finalise your spec before the car goes into production, usually 2-3 weeks before the estimated delivery date Before that time, you can change your spec as many times as you like - your dealer would love you for it

One last thing, do not take the delivery date as set in stone - it is only an estimate!

The remainder has to reach their bank account before they let you drive the car off I believe

I just paid £100 deposit in September and paid the balance with my bank debit card when I picked the car up in November.

I had to part with 10% (£1,500) I wonder if the rate is BMW or dealer set.

I only had to deposit $500, and I think the rate is not only dealer set but depends on what the customer will tolerate.

Mine was £500 as well, and I paid the remainder on Switch card when I collected it! (that was cool - I still have the card receipt for £12795.... )

I paid £500 deposit upon ordering, and paid the rest via Banker's Draft 5 days prior to collection.

When i ordered my MC i had to pay 500 GBP to set the ball rolling. When i picked my car up I paid part cash part bankers draft and the remainder was on BMW finance.
The bankers draft was given on the day with cash and finance was sorted out prior to the delivery.
Had my cooper for 2 weeks and loving it

£200 or £250 paid on ordering.

I had a car to part/ ex which was valued at £3k. They were expecting this to be brought in when I collected the MINI.

I actually sold that to my mum as their price was very low. Less profit for BMW and in my mumma's good books

So instead of giving them a car I gave them £3k and the rest on their finance all sorted when initial order placed.

Ez Pz.

Damn I knew there was some reliability issues but this is ridiculous, I admire your brand loyalty !
