Offline | Ordered my Cooper in November, and am now clearing out my garage. Quick question, do the wing mirrors fold in or upwards, if at all, and does anybody know the width measurements when they are folded in. |

Offline | Welcome to Mini2 Welcome to Mini2 - When do you take delivery?. The mirrors rotate upwards towards the window - it only saves an inch or 2 of space on each side though. Enjoy the Cooper when it comes |

Offline | Thanks for responding. Take delivery on the 1st March. That one or two inches will give me that extra space in the garage, it's going to be quite tight, but I'm planning to cushion the wall so as not to scratch the door when I squeeze out. |

Offline | cushioning the wall is a good idea because Mini doors are quite big and need to be opened relatively wide to be able to get out. What colour/options are you getting? I bet the 1st of March seems like an age away - its worth the wait though. Dont forget to take a camera with you when you pick it up and post them on here for us all to see. Tony |

Offline | Silver with black roof and bonnet stripes. Seen loads of silver ones but only one with the stripes. Standard chilli pack with the 16 inch 5 star alloys, and part leather trim and air con (manual) as an extra etc. Also got the single cd, as the sales person said the sound quality was superior to the 6 cd changer. Been without a car for a month now, as my old car's MOT ran out and I had an offer from someone to buy it. Hopefully this will make the final delivery even more exciting than I anticipate. Will take a camera when I pick up the car, thanks for the tip, I would have forgotten otherwise. |

Offline | The MINI is 75.8 inches wide with the mirrors out. Folding the mirrors gets you about 4 extra inches on each side. The doors stick out about 45 inches when fully open, however I can get in and out of the car with the doors open to the first detent, which hangs the door out about 21 inches or so [not real easy but possable] . The middle detent hangs the door out about 36 inches, easy in and out from here. Hope this helps you prepare a place for the baby. |
