Have spent the Easter weekend smiling from ear to ear, having collected my new blue Cooper on Thursday. I spent about 2 hours downloading three dodgey pictures the other day so please make my effort worth while and take a look!

As you will see I switched from our previous silver and black combo for the far more sporty blue stripey version! Have also got the sports seats which are simply light years ahead of the standard versions. No dash board creaks so far either! (Fingers crossed!)

Saw the other MINI2 owners cars at Goodwood. You have all changed to clear indicators. I was going to but I'm beginning to think I'll stand out more if I dont.

As for the clear rear lights, it is just a matter of saving the pocket money!

I liked the single piece wing mirrors on one of the silver cars at Goodwood too! Where were these from?

And if all goes well, I should have an Indigo blue Mini with white roof sitting on my drive in 15 days and counting :-)

Its strange. I've only seen one other blue and white Cooper out of the dozens of new Minis I've seen. Yet everyone on this site seems to be getting one!

If you do own a blue and white Cooper please stay away from Chichester so I can continue looking better than all the rest!

I saw that when it came to ordering black, it seemed everyone wanted black all a sudden!

BTW what are these Wing Mirors you mention! Any pics?

Have you thought about numbers on the doors? I'm not a fan of the white roofs, or wheels or stripes, but I have to say with the blue they all look damn cool!

Would have looked even better with a red interior.

Varse's Velvet Beauty Mk11 is no longer, sold back to my dealer.
