After waiting since 2000 December, folowed by much trauma at last minute ref. pickup of my car from the dealer, I picked up my Chilli Red/White launch Cooper Saturday 6th April. That was one of the most fun days I've had - drove up into the Niagara escarpment with a buddy and put "P ROCKET" thru its (her?) paces...Toooo much fun. As has been noted in the UK & the US, in Canada the mere presence of the car evokes smiles & whoops of joy in ordinary onlookers...this brings FUN back to motoring.

A special thank you to Paul Mullett & all you Mini2 folks who kept me sane over the last 16 months...now it off to drive I go ( and for Paul Berne - I bet you are having fun too)...

Sweet. If you ever get back from driving, I'd like more pictures of Red/White cars. Do you have a digicam?

Congratulations! It must be special to have a numbered Cooper. The Coopers will draw alot of attention anywhere it goes right from launchtime. I was turning lots of heads on my test drive of both the Cooper and the Cooper "S". Happy motoring and drive safe!
