Hi everyone,

I've been thinking about getting a cooper w/ silk green and white top combo. However, all the pictures I've seen of silk green are different. Is the color very green or more silver?

Can someone please post some pics w/ this combination (w/17 inch 8 spokes would be nice!). The black roof seems to bring out different colors than the white.

Noooo Don't do it! If you want green get British Racing Green

Sorry just Silk Green is the only Colour I HATE on the mini. White is naff (sorry just my opinion), Yellow is okay but not for me, but the rest are all great.

My honest piece of advice; go see for yourself! Don't go by pictures, or what others tell you. I ordered mine silk green with black roof. I went to see for myself. Good luck.

Fair point, I've only ever seen them in pics, maybe they don't do the colour justice!

Go for it mate, I think silk green is a great colour, though it's not everybody's bag.

Silk Green is a wonderful colour but you really need to see it for yourself in the natural daylight. And no wonder the other picture on the Cooper Register site came from Bournemouth; the one above was also taken in Bournemouth - someone at the local dealer there (Wood of Bournemouth) obviously likes Silk Green with a white roof!

Go for it!!!

I quite like the silk green with white. Certainly more so than Pepper white or Velvet Red. IMO

I was gone in Las Vegas for the last 2 days since I first made this post. On the 5 hour drive back to Los Angeles, thoughts of different mini colors kept going through my mind. Silk Green w/ a white top...Pure Silver with a black top, pepper white w/ a black top...What is it about this car the captures the imagination like it does?

Thank you everyone for your help! The Silk Green is a wonderful color in pictures, unfortunately, nobody in california I know has even seen it. I heard of a few dealers on the east coast (New York) that have recieved some cars in this color.

Now, I just hope i don't see any in Pepper white, because I might get more confused!
