| MINI2 Master | Someone's bought a Cooper S, with all my stuff on it! Not a lot of MIINI's in these parts, on your average say 40 minute drive you'd probably see 0-2, and 2 would be loads to see so, we're a little bit special. Most of the ones I see are One's, few Coopers, and ocasionally an S. I've never seen another MINI with R90's, and I quite like that!!! (Haven't driven to Donegal yet - sorry Aiden, but if I ever do I'll look out for ya!) Some of my mates spotted a Cooper S, in my colours, with R90's and xenons, quite near where I live, the reg number was quite high too, so they reckoned it had just been picked up. I shouldn't be, but I'm a little bit disappointed. Mines not an S, and that makes me feel even less special. I can't wait to see it, the owner obviously has taste!!! He/she will probably be as shocked to see me if we do ever meet so that would be fun. I just think its funny I feel so "territorial"! ![]() ![]() |

![]() Nice TTs......... | Louise, I saw an Irish guy on here in the past few days, think his username is Brady? Dark Silver / Black / R90s / JCW afaik.......... ![]() As time goes on, I guess we will see more and more over here, which I guess is a good thing, even though it dilutes the 'uniqueness' we have had to date............. ![]() I remember the stir my first B/W Cooper caused here in town when it landed - people were literally hanging out windows in the local shopping centre for a look at it ! ![]() ![]() Global Moderator |

Offline | I have a JCW S and the first time Mrs Wibbly took it Tesco a guy who works there came running out of the Plant/Garden Centre bit, demanding to know all about it, as he had never seen one before -- he took a picture of it with his camera phone, had Mrs Wibbly take one of him standing by the car, and wanted to take one of the engine so could she lift the bonnet... She told him if he knew how to lift it he could, and he owns a MINI One It was quite a surreal experience for her... He still gets all excited when we go over there now, but I think he's a bit scared to come over when I drive it there And we live in a large conurbation just outside Birmingham ![]() | MINIaddiction | | For MIDLANDS Folk in their MINI's | |

Offline | Mini Lou, there were only two Minis around here when I got mine (Nov/02). Now there are about 10 - and THREE of them, other than mine, are PW/BL. I've been considering joining the speccing thread lately tbh. ![]() "Sunshine and Peace." - Maxamini ![]() |

![]() Nice TTs......... | Heres a link to a thread with details of our last Irish Run - it was a bit snowy and icy though as it turned out, so pace was down. Pity, but the scenery was great. This route may be half of our run this year, which the guys from Cork fancy as a two day event. http://www.mini2.com/forum/showthrea...hristmas+lakes I really have to get a route sorted out, but I'm so, so busy these days......... ![]() ![]() Global Moderator |
