Top of the class?

In Autocar`s Top 50 New Cars “definitive guide” out today, they put the MINI Cooper at No. 1 in the Hot hatch class, with the Peugeot 106Gti second, followed up by, wait for it . . . the BMW 325i Compact!

Front wheel drive (BMW) MINI Cooper a better hot hatch than the rear wheel drive BMW 325i Compact?

Oh! dear! In the UK the Cooper is priced at £11,600, the 325i Compact will be £23,000.

Very dear, that means you could have 2 Coopers for the price of . . . . !

I tell you,

I am quite surprised that they even had these in the same category to be quite honest. The BMW is in a completely different sector to the MINI... never mind the Peugeot...

All credit to the MINI though!!

Just confused, when all of the reviews have said the BMW Compact is a slightly cheaper body variant to the saloon... fair enough it is a hatchback... but still!

Never mind eh!?? The MINI is a class act!!

Indi Blue... Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!! White wheels of course!! B)
