Offline | Not experienced this on our MINI but my only suggestion is that the glass isn't pressing on the rubber seal as firmly as it should. This might mean that the door catch needs adjusting to pull the door slightly tighter into the bodywork when it closes. I would get the dealer to look at it. |

Offline | I had this problem Tony take it into your dealer. When you open and close the door you have seen the glass drop and rise what happened is the mounting has sliped down and no does not quite reach the top of the window. Its an all day job apparently well thats how long mine took. Could be a future problem with the Mins |

| MINI2 Master | If it doesn't turn out to be the window, try looking at the plastic trim covering the A pillars so see if it is flush. If not it could create some wind. | MINI2 Regular | I have this exact problem on my 05 MCS - it was very disconcerting the first time it happened, and now it's very annoying. The passenger window is definitely not as high as the driver's side window. I have tried the resets that another thread has mentioned but it has not fixed it. My first trip back to the dealer I think. |

| MINI2 Regular | I have this exact problem on the driver's side. Really bad whistling noise at 80mph plus I investigated it, and saw that the glass was not sitting against the seal properly, it was being pulled outwards by the wind. It seems to be high enough, just splaying outwards. Searched this forum, and found one reply, saying that their dealer had fixed the problem in 10 mins. I've booked mine in for Thursday, will report back on the results. Milhouse: "We have to spread this stuff around - let's put it on the internet!" | MINI2 Regular | Well, it's fixed. BMW said they had to adjust the window "up and in (towards the car body)" I don't think it took them long, car was there in the morning and ready by lunchtime. Now it is very quiet, even at 120. Which I did on a private runway, round the back of my house guv'nor" Milhouse: "We have to spread this stuff around - let's put it on the internet!"
