Offline | First Impressions... I picked up Indy on Monday from ![]() ![]() ![]() Lovett in Bristol. IB/W, chilli pack, 17" s-spokes, SS+, Auto a/c, Harman Kardon. 7 miles on the clock and it was the first time I'd seen it since ordering. Its a little beauty!! I've done about 450 miles since then and it drives better and better. Keeping it clean is gonna be tricky, especially the wheels; but I stocked up at halfords on cleaning stuff (2 for 1 on all turtlewax stuff btw). The HK is superb. Deep loud bass and rich sounds across the spectrum. My counting crows cd sounds amazing on the festival setting. So, all good up to now.....apart from one thing. The rear left speaker causes an annoying rattle. Whats everyones experience with this. Is there an easy way to fix it. Or is it reasonable to bring it back to the dealer to fix??? Had a smile from a (gorgeous) IB driver this morning too ...it just keeps getting better and better!!! |

Offline | I had a rattle that sounded like a bit of grit in the speaker and the dealer took it all apart and said they found nothing - eventually discovered that it was the trim 'rattling' against the door - if you get someone to press the trim while your driving (or do this yourself in a very large field!) and it stops you can tell the dealer where it is. I think others have reported something similar and the dealer puts pads between trim and body (or is it blue-tac?) ![]() MCC Astro Black, collected 21 July , all is well (alarm has not false alarmed since 15 December 2004!) |

Offline | Thanks kimd. I managed to press the side while at the traffic lights to see if it stopped rattling. It did, so it's something I could ask the dealer to fix then?? Someone posted how to do this yourself, but it looks too complicated and I wouldn't trust myself pulling the panel off. |
