Offline | Im back...and after a Cooper this time! - how much can i get...? Hi, I sold my Mini One 2 months back in a 'moment of madness' - and basically got a really good price for it. I went and brought a Alfa Romeo 156 which i thought was excellent - then i had loads of problems with it - i rejected the car and got my money back. Anyway, ive decided that im going to go for another Mini, this time a Cooper though. Bascially, I want the following on the car: Sat nav Chili 17" s spokes A/C + Sunroof preferably upgraded stereo - i.e. H/K How much do you think i could pick a used one of these up for roughly? im not too concerned about age and would want something with average mileage. cheers, chris |

Offline | Will you be buying privately or from a dealer? There is a really good MINI cherished site on mini.co.uk - you can choose the colour of the car you are seeking, & the ads are good with pix & a full spec. Cars are listed according to distance from where you live. What was wrong with the Alfa? They're nice cars... Cheers - blues "Coffee and TV" |

Offline | Your choice will be limited if you want all those extras. Not many cars have SatNav for example. Buying used is the way to go if you want to save some money. You should be able to buy a used car at least £1k less than from a dealer. You'll still have warranty and since you've owned a MINI before you'll know what to look out for. If I were buying a used MINI I'd go for one as new as possible even if you have to give up on a few options in order to maximise getting a good one. Red/Black R56 Cooper |
