France Automatic open of the sunroof and windows, but what about automatic closure?

Just picked up my new MC, and this feature is wonderful, however, can’t seem to be able to close the lot automatically. Any idea why that is? Am I missing something?
Please help!

Cheers

Daniel

Something to do with safety, if you could close automatically you could trap a child's (or silly adult's) fingers if they were daft enough to put them in the way of the closing sunroof. For the same reason there is no automatic closing of the windows. As stated above you can however close automatically using the key, I guess this has to be a more deliberate action, compared with pressing a button on the remote which could happen accidentally eg if the button got pressed when the keys were in your pocket or something.

Hey, It works the same as BMW, key in door lock turn key to lock door and hold in that position, after a few seconds windows and sunroof will close.

The feature is rigged this way, instead of via remote to insure that you can see if anyones hands or fingers are in the way.

cheers

except that the 318i will shut if you hold the lock button down
