Hey guys, I just found this forum and was wondering if you could help me with some problems I am having w/ my cooper.

Its a 2003 Mini Cooper Automatic and it feels when I press the gas that the its stuck in 2nd gear. Just recently, the car started shuddering/shaking and stalling when I press the gas from a stall, and the check engine light came on.

Could there be something wrong w/ the transmission software? Do you guys know where the diagnostic port in the engine bay? Will the peake FCX-II diagnostic tool that I have for my bmw work with my mini? Thanks in advanced guys!

HI Rich,
I live in america now, but when I lived in england I had a cooper automatic and when we came to a stop the car would shudder and vibrate. I dont know how to fix it but I just wanted to let you know that your not the only one who has had this problem. Just go to your dealership and check it out....
