hiya, does anyone know the make of the cooper standard fit immobiliser on an 02 plate? im buying one this week and my insurance company cant insure me til they know?! any help would be appreciated?!!

It is an EWS III, thatcham approval number - te2 1220/0701 Cat 2

I suspect you have stumbled across some lazy ass YTS guy because all insurance companies have this Thatcham information themselves!

more than insurance company, kept saying the computer needed the info, i phoned twice, and even told them it was a cat 2, what more do they need to know? thought they were going to ask me for a serial number?!! yea mikey, thanks again mate
