Offline | Please ignore the brake dust, we're trying to break it in.[/quote] No pun intended eh? ![]() Looks very nice indeed. The brake dust seems to be a permanent fixture - my Cooper is past it's running in period and still plenty of dust. P.S I like the white edging to the floor mats - are they special? on the road to Mandalay in my BEP Cooper |

Offline | Very nice, I like the tinting what percentage is that? The floormats are standard cloth panels that have a reflective edging which turned out whittish I guess because of the flash? |

Offline | No. There seems to be some sort of reflective 3M deal going on that causes a reflection from my camera's flash. Thanks for the compliments. I will pass the comments along to the wife, as it is her car. |

Offline | Man, you posted about the mats while I was typing my reply. The window tint is a 35% shade. They were tinted by the guy that does the tinting for the Mini store where we picked up our car. We were able to cut out the middle man and only paid 1/3 the price they wanted. ![]() |

Offline | Congrats and welcome! I just love the Kids in the Hall photographic reference! ***SQUISHY!!!*** By the way, the brake dust is a typical BMW trait. They always insist on top OEM brake pads so this is the side-effect. Panke addressed this issue once in a question. He said that if owners didn't like the brake dust blackness, they can either wash it everyday or buy another car. Gotta love the Germans... ***BMW-AG Rocks!!!*** Portsmouth FC Can Thank Sunderland...What a Farce!!! |
