Clear side repeaters

Just got my clear side repeaters sorry if this has been anounced by others more than a few times before but they look sooooo much better than the standard orange jobbies and at about £20 there are bargain Also they were extremelly easy to fit, can't remember who provided the guide for fitting in this forum but thanks anyway

I thought it was monsta but wasn't sure, thanks again like you say it was extremelly easy how dealers could possibly charge for fitting is scandalous

I was going to go for the clear look all round (rear lights as well) but on top of the cost, I think I personally prefere the hint of red in the standard lights it gives the rear a bit more character.

Now I've fitted the clear side repeaters, it makes you realise how out of place the standard ones look, I originally thought they looked fine.

While your about any news on the chrome side grills?

I have given up searching for chrome side grills for my Cooper, so I have ordered the "S" versions from my dealer.

I know they are off the "S" but I think that the better looking grills should be fitted to the better looking MINI!!

I will probably paint the red "S" black.

Scotty, you gotta go clear allround, the rear ones really suit indi blue:

I even got mine at a nice discount £148

Once you have those, you need Phillips Silver Vision bulbs for the front indicator lights, when lit they are orange, when not....silver.......mmmmmmmmmmmmm.

That was a sneaky way of announcing your lights Minty They look cool, almost as nice as mine. Can't beleive the price you paid though, how did you get that?!

Silver vision bulbs look cool, you can get clear bulbs from MINI that look like the rear ones so they are slightly blue looking - might look nice on your car

the MINI has gone...

This is what I may do to my "S" side vents when I get them. It may make the S less noticable!!??

I beg to differ, gentlemen, but I had the badge in March, when the Smiffymobile was still a pile of parts!

It's a MINI hearse!

Well. The "S" side grills have arrived and boy are they a better quality than the standard black ones!!

I've got them on now (easy to fit), and they make the side of the car look a lot more classy (I think so).

I was going to take the red "S" out (the red centre is a transfer) until I took this photo, then I noticed it was reflective! Cool!!

I may leave them red now! (only because it is a side-on safety feature when pulling out of road junctions you understand!! )

Question

Could one of you please tell this American what a "repeater" is? I think of that term as a condition you feel after snarfing down a bad curry.

Thank you.
