Haven't seen a silver one, so can't really comment. I quite liked the dark blue metallic, but thought the royal grey looked pretty classy in the metal. I'm not a great lover of white cars and prefer the pepper white on other Mini's to the bright white on the Countryman.
I suppose colour likes and dislikes are all pretty subjective? I kinda liked the bright blue with white roof combo, but the othet half wasn't keen at all!
It will be interesting to see which colours are most common, and which are rare; I imagine the coffee colour will a niche choice!!
Ordered 20th September CooperS All 4....chilli, sunroof, leather, and more toys that I have sense!
My Mini is sitting at 0077 (order acknowledged by Mini)...there are 4 ahead of me in the 9000+ status of in production and 1 in front of me at 1100 (no idea).
Was promised end of November, saw on Friday scheduled for week 49....but told that they got one in last week which was originally scheduled to begin week 38!
So the long and the short of it is...I'm clueless when it'll "eventually" arrive!
I ordered my countryman all4 today from US dealer. Got my production number and it is suppose to start production tomorrow. Expected delivery date is first week December.
Finally got Build & delivery dates from dealer. (Sytner)
Build Date Week 45
Delivery (to me) Week 48.
We shall wait expectantly. So far all appears on track.
Originally ordered 7/9 (see earlier post on this thread)
Skim read (In WH Smith) comparison test report in What Car today. Pitched Countryman against Nissan Juke & Skoda Yeti. They were far from complimentary, placing it in third place. What do they know! Will have to buy magazine & read fully.
I quite liked what I'd seen from the adverts, but I saw one in person the other day - absolutely hideous! Can't comment on the drive or build quality, but it's a particularly unattractive beast in my opinion.
I was after 4WD and from what I understand the 4WD Juke is CVT only which isn't my bag. I tested a Yeti which drove well, but I don't think I'm old enough for a Skoda just yet and the delivery times are even more vague than the Countryman.
Just had a call from the dealer. My new countryman has been built & is in Graz waiting shipment. Due to go into a container rather than the shuttle. This is bang on time so far. Delivery to me should now be the week after next.
Will have to get the money ready.
hello
ordered a cooper countryman on the 13th october, was supposed to go into build two weeks ago but dealer says they have only just started on the chassis, and it hasn't gone to paint yet so looks like there has been a little bit of slippage .said build should be done in a week or so !!!!!, how come it takes so long ?. most mass produced cars only take a matter of hours to complete a day at the most.if mini put a vehicle into the production system its not very efficient to keep taking it out at different stages or is it just a ploy by dealers to extent the time line for delivery. info here in the UK isn't very good . anyway looking forward to getting it hopefully sometime before xmas.
