Reason: picture incorrectly loaded
If you post multiple pictures, please help minimize thread load time and make threads easier to read by using clickable thumbnails for all the pictures.
Your post is fine as you can post a full size picture if it's the only one.
My post was for those who want to post multiple pictures.
The best clickable thumbnails of are those of pictures hosted on MINI2, either in the Galleries or as attachments because they are processed by Lightbox software which causes clicked thumbnails to be enlarged on screen rather than in a new window. These can be viewed like a "slide show".
Excellent Cappy! After all the turmoil, yours and ours delivered to dealers the same day. Excellent pic, cos it shows how much higher the Countryman is compared to the normal height Mini next to it.
We get ours Friday, so I'll post pics when we get it.
Yes cheers guys thanks for the help with pictures I will be. Posting more over the weekend etc so will see what happens if I do it wrong will you please help?
If see you edited your original post and included the clickable thumbnail code provided by Photobucket.
I've attached your picture and embedded it:
Check out the difference between clicking the thumbnail in your post and the one in mine
The only drawback to using the Manage Attachments feature ( ) is that you're limited to 5 images per post. It's better to upload your images to the MINI2 Galleries and then copy and paste the provided clickable image code for each picture.
If anyone has questions on using clickable thumbnails please PM me.
Cappy, was at Dick Lovett in Swindon today and had a good look and drive of your car. Only kidding ! - it was all safely locked up and by the valeting bay. Glad I went for a peek as yours is almost the same spec as mine. Main difference is that I didn't spec either black alloys or stripes.
A really useful visit as they had quite a few cars:
Red / Red roof: Not my cup of tea
Grey / Grey: ditto as I find the shade of the grey too 'khaki'
Grey / Black: ditto, and glad I've seen this combo as I really thought I'd like it
Black / Black: liked a lot,
White / Black: also liked a lot
Also managed to see Silver / Black but only on configurator. So have decided to give Silver a miss as no point paying extra when the White comes free.
At moment I'm tempted to go for Black / Black as I feel it makes car look a bit smaller and more compact. The lighter colours seem to accentuate the length and overall size more, and I guess I'm still stuggling very slightly with the overall look and size of the car. Just wish it were possible to completely de-chrome the Black as I'm not really a fan of too much against Black.
What I might do is add the 'optical under ride kit' to break the black up a bit. Wish it was poss to add these to configurator to see what they look like.
As my build week is currently 52 think I've a few more weeks to look around before confirming. Only one I still want to see is True Blue / Black.
Cool sounds like you had a good day! Mine is ready for collection tomorrow so will be down there at 5.00pm to collect it! It was Pdi'd this afternoon and being valeted tomorrow...
Well, here goes. Despite advice and guidance, I am such a dunce at these things I have had a terrible job getting the photos on here. If anyone can improve on them - be my guest!!!!!!
