New Mini Monster Ordered!

My wife owned a Mini One Seven from 05 to 09. Since then she's had a 1er Coupe and now a Qashqai to accommodate our wee boy.

Having never got over the selling of her Mini she's ordered a new Countryman.

Spec is:

Cooper D
Blazing Red
Chilli Pack
Carbon Lounge Leather
Heated front seats
Armrest
TLC

The dealer has intimated March for delivery and I'd it's earlier we'll be waiting till at least the 1st March for the New plate.

Anyone got any info on lead times for the Countryman?

Looking forward to seeing the blazing Red in person too!

Did she order white mirror caps and roof? If not make a change they look stunning

I ordered my Countryman about 7 November. Hopefully it arrives at the dealer mid Jan. Initially it was hoped for a late December delivery but he couldnt get a build slot. So, it looks like 9/10 weeks is about delivery times.

I went for Blazing red (cooper petrol with Chilli) with black roof and bonnet stripes, hope it looks good !

Do you know if the cheap rate finance has continued into this year? and did you get any kind of discount on the car?

I've heard that the cheap rate finished on the 1st - we ordered on December 30th though. We got a great discount. Went for a PCP and from 1st quote to the one we accepted we got nearly 15% off. I did go round several dealers and play them off against one another.

The website still has the 3.9% APR deals on it, so it looks like the cheap rate finance continues into 2013 - assuming that the website has been updated!

Harry Fairbairn in Giffnock. My mate is the Senior Tech for Parks BMW so he got the dealer principal at Parks to give me their best figures - Fairbairn beat them but they said it was very hard to beat. I'm very happy with it - the price we are paying is what we though the standard cooper D with no pack's or extras would be!
