Hello! Can someone who has a Countryman SD with an automatic tell me pls if the Sport Buton make the disel feel more "sportier"?
I'm asking because I have the exact same engine on a bmw x1 18d (it doesn't have a spor button) and it feels very slow when accelerating from a standstill ...... the car just satys there for 1.5 sec before starting to move. I'm afraid not to have the exact same problem on the paceman sd that i ordered.
yes it does, it makes the gear change longer before it goes up, generally to 3,000 revs, normally my ALL4 auto changes gear at 2,000 rpm, i did press the button to see what it did, and apart from the gear change rates i noticed absolutely nothing else.
Buttons are for a Sports Spec car. If you have the Sports package you will notice stiffer steering and you will produce 192lbs, of torque at 3000 rpms. More response in auto tranny when paddle shifting.
