Info: size of the luggage van

Good Morning,
I am new of the forum and hope somebody can help me.
We are planning to buy a mini countryman and I need to know in advance the dimensions (height, width and depth) of the luggage van with the rear seats in the open position, since I need to store there a adult wheelchair.
I could not find it around on the web.
Can anybody help me?

thanks in advance.

By open position do you mean with the rear seats folded down? What are the dimensions of your wheelchair?

No, I meant the opposite. The crucial measure is the height of the luggage van.

I took measurements prior to buying mine, this may not be entirely accurate but according to my notes the interior height behind the rear seats is 78 cm with the false floor in place. Without the false floor you gain an additional 19 cm however do note that the area beneath the false floor is somewhat irregularly shaped. Anyways I will try to confirm these measurements tonight or tomorrow.

By the way, in case it helps the max width in the back is 110 cm and the depth from rear seat to tail gate is 61 cm with the rear seats moved all the way back. You can slide the rear seats forward for an additional 12 cm.

Take your wheelchair along to a MINI dealer and ask them to show you how it will fit in to one of their demonstrators, theres no better way the check it than with the actual car, I mean it might go in, but if its a heck of a struggle getting in there then its no good is it?

Thanks for the precious information. It sounds that the wheelchair will fit in!
Good news!!!

Thanks also to whom suggested to take the wheelchair to the showroom and check. This will be the second step.

Hope I will succeed in becoming a Mini Countryman owner!!!!
