Pick up my Cooper Coupé later today!

Im really excited because I am returning my Mini 1 and upgrading to a Mini Coupe. My current 09 One has racked up over 53k miles and when I went to the dealership to look at a Cooper S hardtop I fell in love with the Coupé.
Have only seen one out and about and thought it looked stunning in full flow.
I will try and post some pics when I get home (after I've finished playing).

BTW... Does no one do a mini wave and flash anymore? I am starting to look like a weirdo. Bad times!

Me too Mine is a 57 reg and I've only done 26k miles in it...went in to order a new mini one hatch and spotted the cooper coupe...uh oh...I've been acting like a 17 year old ever since!

Don't pick mine up until Saturday morning so I'm hoping the snow stays away!

Here's a suggestion:
Coupés will be rare, so coupé/roadster drivers should wave to one another.

I have picked her up and she is great. I won't lie, I've been a lil nervous driving her as I am not used to her dimensions and quirks. I have had to bring it back to the dealer because this morning i noticed that there was a lil dent behind the driver seat where someone has pushed the seat back too hard and it has hit the little pad. They are going to take it back in a few days and replace that section of the car.

I was also disappointed to see that they had taken out the snap in adaptor and Y cable that was in the car when i viewed and test drove the car. I had to go back today and order one. Now have to wait until the weekend to play with all the mini connected toys.

Have I done the right thing by opting for the Y cable over the snap in adaptor. I want to use the full mini connected features, charge my phone and play my music and videos.
The man at the BMW accessories desk wasn't sure if what he had ordered for me was the right item... heres hoping!

When we picked up our R56 in november there were also some scratches on the inside back side panels and they replaced them without question a few days ago.

Regarding the Y-cable, we got this, and as i understand it is a far more reliable option than the snap-in adapter (although both are overpriced for what they do). It allows full ipod functionality (other than some of the mini connected app features).

Yep it's great fun. We borrowed a MINI ONE whilst it was getting the replacement parts and i loved the drive home once we got our scooper back, so much fun!!

So on MINI connected through the Y cable I cant access the Minimalism Analyser, Mission Control or Driving Excitement. They all say for best connectivity they only work with the snap-in adapter or some equally silly bit of bogusness.

I drove two coupes at the weekend, and S and a JCW. Loved them both, so much that I ordered a roadster (see separate thread).

I picked Mya up again today. The dealer fixed the scuff on the read headrest and changed the boot decal. I borrowed a Mini cooper and was struck by the huge difference in driving position. Mya feels so spacious so cocoon like, I love it.
Have still only seen one other Coupé on the streets. My local dealer told me who owned it and said she lives in my area
I am jealous of Spiney's new Roadster, they are gonna be stunning!
