In that case there's no reason not to take them up on their free offer
The good thing about MINI Insurance is they automatically cover all options from the base. It maybe Swift Cover do that as well but many insurers don't. I also found them to be extremely cheap this time around!
I took up the option of the free 7 day insurance just so I could put my girls on the insurance - I was surprised they would touch them as my insurer Aviva would not entertain them as named drivers because of their ages.
They enjoyed the few times they were allowed behind the wheel, back to being passengers now as I was not prepared to shell out the £3600 I was quoted for the full year !!!!
