Cooper coupe ???

Hi my daughter has her eye on a lovely red cooper coupe 11350. Pepper pack. And she also like grey cooper coupe 11999 chilli pack. Red one 2011. Grey one
2012 Is there much difference not sure what these packs include? Anyone drive a cooper petrol. Would be nice to hear you advice please Thanks in anticipation from a worn out mum

The packs are effectively the model hierarchy of Mini.
Pepper is a fairly basic pack of bits, while Chili is pretty comprehensive apart from satnav and media.
If you look at the Mini.co.uk site, it shows what is in each pack today. The exact contents have changed over time but they remain broadly similar. Chili always has auto climate control, the bottom end of the leather seat range and lots of trinkets (though not necessarily useful extras).
A Cooper petrol is a sensible car - it will cruise the motorway without effort and keep up with most cars, but isn't psycho quick like an S.

I just picked up a 2011 Cooper Coupe with Pepper pack.
Having owned a couple of previous minis that were Coopers, with Chilli pack a few differences that are obvious ...

The Chillis I owned had ...

Sportier seats
The 2007 model had cruise / mutip function steering wheel
Different alloys

Having said that, this Pepper model has (that my previous cars didn't)

Auto dim rear view mirror
Climate control
DAB radio
USB / ipod connectors
Bluetooth phone

Not sure if these were included with the 2011 Pepper pack, or if they were additional options.

Best advice, view both cars if possible, consider age and mileage, then pick the one you like.

Even a bog standard mini one is great fun ...

Martin
