Sports mode

Is there any reason why you should not drive in sports mode all the time? My daughter prefers it that way any advice is appreciated. Cooper coupe 😄

The drive is not as smooth in sports mode. I loved it on the MCS because it gave that sporty feel/response, passengers hated it. Now we have a Coupe SD, its a different kind of a drive where it feels right to be smooth and lazy.

Hi ya

No not at all drive it like you stole it :-) and I can imagine as a mother you don't want to here that so sorry :-)
Sports mod only really stiffens up the steering takes the assist away a little bit IMO makes it nicer to drive and just make the throttle more responsive, the only thing you may find is it uses more fuel due to more spirited driving.

Hope this helps

Your daughter just likes to have the SPORT light lit up on the dash thats why makes her think shes Knight Rider.
Perhaps you should arrange to have it put on a separate switch so it comes on in normal mode, if youre worried about her speeding.
