This year’s Trade Village will make the Brands Hatch Mini Festival in association with Mini Sport bigger and better than ever.
"The Trade Village for the Brands Hatch Mini Festival on 22 and 23 June is set to substantially bigger than at last year's inaugural event, with a selection of traders ready to cater for every Mini owner and every Mini's needs. The world's longest running Mini specialist (and Red Devils display sponsor) Mini Sport will head up the village, with all manner of parts and accessories for Minis new and old.
World-renowned cleaning specialist AutoGlym will bring a sparkle to the Trade Village as well as sponsoring the Show and Shine competition. 30 Mini owners will compete for AutoGlym car care products and a 2014 Brands Hatch Season Pass by showing off their Mini.
MINI tuning specialist Lohen will be in attendance in the Trade Village, whilst also providing race support services to the MINI Challenge competitors throughout the weekend. Lohen have been voted the UK's Best Independent New MINI Specialist three times by Modern MINI Magazine readers.
There will be parts a-plenty as Mini Spares, N K Trading, DSN Classics, South Lakeland Mini Centre and the East Anglian Mini Centre will all be bringing stands of sought-after parts, spares and more for your prized Minis. Whether your wish-list is already in your pocket or you're simply looking for ideas, there's sure to be something for Minis of all shapes and sizes.
Wolfmods, Classic Trim, 100% Showplates, Palmer Brothers and The Wheel Specialist will be on hand to help personalise Minis old and new, inside and out. Italian Job, Mini UK, GSG, Potteries Pictures and Kody's Pics are also set to attend ensuring the Trade Village at the Brands Hatch Mini Festival will be one of the busiest and best places to buy all things Mini!"
You can experience the thrill of a mini rally stage from the passenger seat of a rally-prepared MINI during the Brands Hatch Mini Festival on 22-23 June, and donate money to charity at the same time.
Mini Festival partners Mini Sport will be bringing two of their specially-built two-wheel drive new MINI Cooper Ss to slide their way around the Brands Hatch rally stage. Tickets for this rare chance will cost just £25 and the proceeds will all go to Cancer Research.
Behind the wheel will be decades of experience in the shape of Daniel Harper and John Cressey. Harper took a class victory for Mini Sport in a classic Mini Cooper S at the 1997 Network Q RAC Rally in the World Rally Championship, the first ever class win for a Mini in the WRC. Two years before that he was 1300 Group A British Rally Champion.
Cressey has over 30 years worth of experience of rallying in the UK.
Chris Harper, managing director at Mini Sport, said "Anyone who gets in will really enjoy it. The cars are bespoke built: brakes, engine the lot by us at Mini Sport. They're fully rally prepared with 250bhp and enter rallies such as the Rally Isle of Man. They're certainly well spec'd and fans won't have done anything like it!"
