The Cooper S was in a group test on Auto Mundial (Men and Motors) today, repeated 29/06 at 19.30, 30/06 at 21.00 and 02/07 at 21.30.

Just caught the end of the item, but it seemed to do pretty well, up against the usual suspects (Clio, CTR).

Sorry guys, bit of a false alarm there!

I finally managed to catch the whole program (don't ask

) and it was mainly a review of the Audi S3, with some brief references to the Cooper S and other sub-£25k alternatives, including 3 Series, Alfa 147, CTR, Clio and SEAT Cupra Leon (as far as I can remember).

Still, the Cooper S was recommended as the Best Value and Best Drive, yet again

and it did appear on screen for a few seconds...

I guess I'm not the only one who is watching everything with it in while waiting for theirs to arrive (not to mention the two-foot high pile of magazine reviews I've been collecting for the last few months...)

Oh well, I'm going for another test drive on Tuesday, then Gran Turismo Concept is out on the 19th, so I can pass the time with that for a few more weeks!
