| Nov 05 Road & Track Long Term MCS Test - Mixed Just got my Nov 05 Road & Track today, and they have a Long Term Test of a 2003 MCS. "High maintenance, low cost, big fun" is the header. They didn't like the shakes, rattles, & creaks from the rear hatch & sunroof. They didn't like the sunroof. Driver error blew an engine cylinder -- "Cause of death was hydrolocking of a cylinder from water intake." But towards the end, it's actually a fairly positive article -- "At the final 50,000-mile mark our MINI has held up better than many expected. For all the trouble our MINI had, we still love it and it gets an excellent cost rating, making it a good value.
