Has anyone read it?!? I'm wondering what they reckon about the new mini and about the outcome of the shootout.

MCS outclassed the Clio almost everywhere, including performance. Only bad thing they said about the car specifically was how stupid the cheap and nasty centre console looked on the Mini.....

I’m always a little dubious of Renault build quality but the new Clio does look a lot better built than its predecessors.

The cup version is the one to wait for, as Renault know how to make a good handling car! The 182 runs rings around the R53 but it also falls apart a lot quicker.

I was really pleased they liked the engine. That was one thing I was a bit worried about when they lost the supercharger.

Its a good article as usual from EVO, and its always nice to read that the car you've ordered is a cracker

I seriously do not understand all the fuss with clios, the mk 1 thing (williams shape) was the best, since then i havent liked any shape. the last one with 172/182 got raved everywhere, it doesnt make up for the dull interior and ugly exterior it was hardly artistic. and now they are all raving about the new one, i think it looks more a toy than the mini tbh take a look at these pictures:

the backs look virtually the same *in alan partridge voice * "ooo look at that agressive rear diffuser"
and at the end when they mentioned the 'cup', they forgot to mention the 'works'

I went and had a test drive in one of these and it just felt dull. It was quick, but it just didnt make you smile like a cooper s does.
