Offline | Auto Express MCS Test 28/03/07 28/03/07 Auto Express have tested the MCS v Corsa VXR and by the smallest of margins the dash rattling R56 just pipped the VXR to the winning post. The 2 key areas it just manged to nose in front were Styling/Image and Engine/Performance. Despite being slightly slower all round, due to the VXR having an extra 14bhp to play with , the tester preferred the manner and sound effect in which the slower MINI delivered it's power.Too many freaks not enough circuses Tell a man that there are 400 billion stars and he'll believe you. Tell him a bench has wet paint and he has to touch it. |

Offline | Ive seen so many of the VXRs at work now, i finally know what the back end looks like, with that silly triangle exhaust, and shaped 'gill' bits on the bumper! Offline | I know this will sound like I'm having a go at the Corsa but I think that while the styling maybe more edgy and 'now' it will be out of fashion quite quickly ![]() |

Offline | It's looking like a lot of other cars, they all tend to follow their company style, and they all follow "motoring fashions". It's a bit sad really, it's quite easy (generally) to spot cars from different eras based purely on a few styling cues. Lately for example rear windows always seem to have to come to a point in the middle bottom, not sure where that started. There aint no party like my nana's tea party |

Offline | "Lexus style" rear light is an another obvious recent motor trend. And on so many cars they look very out of place. There aint no party like my nana's tea party |
