ITV4 - Used Car Roadshow - Buying a MINI

I`ve been told that tonights repeat show at 7pm {sorry for the late warning}, has the team out looking for a Used Sports Car.
I think they look at either a 2006 Cooper or MCS as one of their short list cars.
Sorry to be a bit vague but I`ve never seen this show before, but was assured that tonights show is very good - well for MINI lovers anyway

Well, He had a budget of around 15k & the choice was between :-

A 2007 -07- MINI Cooper Auto with Chili with 3.5K miles
Price New 17.5k - Price now 16.5k

A 2003 Audi TT 3.2 fully Loaded Auto Coupe {forget Mileage}
Price New 30k - Price Now 15k

A 2006 VW Golf ST 1.4 Auto with just 500 miles {the one with both Supercharger & Turbocharger}
Price New 20k - Price Now 15k

He had to discard 1 & choose just 2 to test drive - & eventually chose the VW & Audi
... but decided on neither as he really wanted the MINI but it was just too over budget

It was suggested he returned in 3 months when they thought the price would then be within reach.

Personally, I`d have gone for the bargain that was the TT - What a Car !!

Have you had a go in one, there not quick and feel far to heavy. The 220 1.8T is much better but still not an S. However they do look nice.

I drove my fathers old 3.2 v6 tt, which i thought was nice, sounded great with a milltek on it!, the 225 tts are slightly quicker than an r53 cooper s, probably about the same as an r56 s
