Much as I hate 5th gear, they are doing a Clubman test next Monday. Probably watch it anyway!

Nah, it will be rubbish TV but even a crap review will be better than nothing!

I can feel a "Lets pile 21 students into the clubman and then see how it handles down this ski slope on flat tyres. Lets see if we can make them all puke!" type test coming on.

Bet they harp on about the door being on the wrong side

after they race it round a few cones and compare it to standard Mini....plus they'll mention it at the beginning and drag it over the full hour to keep you hooked....after last Mini review I'll not bother, catch highlights on youtube and go down the local for a pint (much better use of time)

I recorded this weeks 5th Gear for the Fiat 500 test.............it took 5 minutes to watch this after fast forwarding through the rest. Not worth bothering as the test as usual told you nothing and it was hard to see the Fiat through all the hip cool flashy camera work!

Fiat 500 is cute! I want to win that one! I liked it's little red accent stripes! All they did was compare it to the MINI, even though its more Toyota Aygo straight out competition. And they harped on about the USB port (Doesn't the new MINI have this too?) FOOLS! I'll watch it next week just because Shawn much prefers this tripe to Eastenders tripe!

I'm amazed they don't tout the new Fabia in the same way, it seems if manufacturer puts the option of a black or white roof on the list then they must be competing with the Mini.

If anything the new Fiat 500 will compete with the Mini, but only for a1 year tops when people realise the premium in the Mini comes from decent dealer services and the 5 year all in service package.

Plus that Fiat on 5th Gear last not was truly horrible, that red sticker spoiled the lines of the car, now when the Arbarth 500 comes onto the market it will be a different story, then again by the time that appears so will the Audi S1

I reckon the Clubman 'test' next week will be another hack and slash affair, then again if I turn the sound down it will make things a little better.

It's slowly getting to the point that youtube is a better source of information comapred to broadcast TV when it comes to cars.
