In an article in the November 2002 issue of Sports Car International (my favorite car mag for the last few years, by the way), the MIni Cooper S was the unanimous choice for best "hot hatch", in both subjective and objective comparison with the SVT Focus, VW GTI, and Honda Civic Si. Well done!
