The car was unveiled last night on the stage, I like the seats, but it doesn't really look anything special

It was revealed before then really, it was on show from Friday morning! I like it, but god it's going to cost a fortune!

Have seen a lot of rumours about the cost of this being very high. but don;t understand why. Is it not a Factory JCW with a one off paint job and an interior re-trim?

Had a good look over the weekend, and it does look lovely. Just not sure it's special enough to have everyone falling over themselves to get one like they were with the GP.

I think the price is supposed to be around £36k, but it's basically full spec, plus badging and unique colour. 100 for UK market at the moment.

I think there are going to be 250, with a number range from 001 - 250. The numbers will be given out randomly and you can't request a specific number.

Mike Cooper did say at MINI United that he would be having 001 so that leaves 249 for everyone else (those that can afford £36k for a MINI!!).

250 for Europe, 100 allocated for UK so far. There's another thread on this somewhere, and details on theSwitchback.com.
