Hi,

It means that when you have your lights on when you're driving, then turn off ur ignition THEN turn off the lights, they stay on for a preset (dealer-programmable) amount, to help you see the way to your door or whatever. If you don't want them to stay on in a certain situation, just turn off your lights BEFORE you turn off the ignition, or turn them off AGAIN if you happened to turn off ignition first, if you get me.

This isn't a new feature by the way, been around for quite a while

The headlights stay on for a while after you have turned the ignition off, so's you can see where you're going
I believe the bit in Auto Express said they would be features on all minis built from next month

My March 03 car has these and they are annoying, because I park my car facing away from my house, when I forget I light the neighboors front room up for 30 secs, I'm sure they think I do it on purpose

MINI UK are claiming this is new, it isn't, it's been standard for a while.
