mini.com owner board registration

Hey, I have my production number now (get my MCS JCW around 20 Nov) but I can't seem to sign in with the mini.com owner board. According to the site, I should get in but it doesn't work. Anyone else have this problem? Anyone know the solution?

Now this is fun:

The dealer does have to formally reserve the production number for you before the website will recognize you.
Don't know how other dealers do it, but mine had production numbers reserved in advance then changed the spec to match the customer and assigned that number to the customer.
That's when I was able to register on the website.

Thanks, sounds like I may just wait until I get my VIN in a couple weeks...but maybe Mini2 is the real answer.

Come on, you should be flattered.
Bother your dealer. Mine was slow to register my production number and I think my buggin' 'em helped.
Trust me, they're used to it.

1,000 apologies. Hey man, I am sorry if I broke some etiquette. I ordered a MCS with your same color scheme. I looked all over for pics of black with bonnet stripes and checkers without success. Yours was the first (and only I might add) pic I found that showed me my choice was the right one. I don’t take delivery until late November. As you can see I have removed it from my profile and I have added an e-mail. I was only going to use it until I could get a real pic of my own…

Now this is fun:
