Whilst channel flicking I noticed they were doing a hot hatch special with 'Reverend Bob'. The other 2 in the category with the Hartge MCS were the Rover 2 series hot hatch (whichever one that is) and the Clio172.

Clio 172 came out top because of price. They did say that one of the film crew had the Hartge MCS a few days previously and had a tussle with an M3. The M3 driver was humiliated by the power & handling of the Hartge MCS - nothing new there I guess!

But on finishing he said the MCS was a bit too flash for its own good! Loved the car but felt it was a bit expensive to be a 'hot hatch'.

Yeah, but the Rev' is a nob though ! All he's interested in is Scoobies and the other Ricer dustbins.

As he said sham " Hartge S is too flash for its own good " thats because its in a different league to the others, the mans a complete fool and I am glad you wer only flicking through!..

"OIOI PUNTERS" , err words of the rev there , yes he a silly little man with a love for all things rice , the Hartge aint flashy imo just pure class as is an unconverted MCS , by the way Rasp , i love it!

I no i noooo , we tested it against a stock S it was only a little bit faster but im very happy with it cos it just feels like the finished article! Still aint found the bloomin rev limiter!
