Just bought an X-box today because I'm so tempted to try out their interpretation of the MCS.
U'll get to try out the MCS from the start of the game
The car handles really well, and I'm pretty sure it's stock cos it understeers
But acceleration is damn slow

This game is just like the Metropolis Street Racer a few years ago, except better graphics and new cars.

This game rocks. Although I was a little diserpointed with the Mini in PGR2. In the first PGR the Mini handled better and was the only way I got golds on all the arcade races. I was legendary.
In PGR2 you only get to use it a little bit and towards the end of the sports compact series it is just too slow compared to the Focus and Golf. I just wanted to use the Mini all the way though but it doesn't let you PANTS.
Still it is the best racing game I have ever played.

Ok, here's a useless piece of info that you may or may not have noticed - if you get the MCS in PGR2 in the area of 100mph or over and then hit the brakes and handbrake it lifts it's rear wheels clean off the ground and does an 'endo' (if that's what the kids call it these days, I am out of touch with such things...). Shame it won't do it in real life..!

If I remember right you need to complete the whole Kudos Championship to unlock the 'Ring. The last task in the Ultimate group is a 2 lap race which takes ages! Record time is about 6.49 I think in the Porshe 911 GT1

I have just done the Pacific Coast thing and hated all the cars. The Volvo 4 x 4 bus was more fun than some Hondabushi 4rx5v8tirx

The ring took me ages in the Cooper S. About 12 mins. Did crash a few times though.
I love drivin that track.

Dont know what I done the ring in but alot less than 9 mins. Mind you I was being pushed by an Enzo LOL

You should all get Xbox Live, now that kicks *****. Like having your mates round for a gaming session every night.

Being from, sydney, the street courses are freakishly real. Seeing as I do the Hickson Rd run in my MCS all the time (for real), it put a huge grin on my face to see it included as it is spot on. Especially when you can use a stradale or carrera gt around there.

mmm if you want to do something fun ... try this...
Chip or modify your xbox, rip the game from Xbox to pc, inside the game files you will find txt files of every car in the game, open up the file of MCS with notepad and change what ever you like on the car... Try adding 1200hp and 3 turbos then you will have fun playing the game IT WILL LIFT FROM THE GROUND heheh

He now lives in Edinburgh...

...and his flats on PGR2, as is the church he sings in *L*

Want him to move to Manchester in time for PGR3

ahhh now after trying to take a pic at the same time as playing ( not so easy)........
first picture is my supertuned (hacked) up MCS heheheh PS : look at the top speed 211 mph ( try to beat that) and the next picture of Ferrari Enzo 225 mph heheh almost the same speed... yup yup now it is more fun to play against the supercars in PGR2

Its cool, but isn't realistic.....now if you added the works kit aero kit and the works wheels And gave it the works performance, then that would be cool By By Focus RS (which i beat on normal cooper anwyay)

ok hmmm but you cant hack the cars in detail like you are saying only the performance and handling and so on because the car is rendered by the xbox it self and i dont want to cange the cods for looks. Works Performance ?? hmmm this hacked car is handling and having the same performance as a Enzo F40 hehe the same speed up to 210 mph hehe that you cant beat... trust me i have played against other cars on XBC and no one can beat this MCS in handling or performance this car is setup with 2 turbos 1 compressor and 1200 hp in total on 5500 rpm mohahahah

What sort of comments did you get from other gamers, can't imagine they'd be too pleased being beaten by a MINI in their supercars.

thats onw fastt MCS, but don't try and go on live with it. Mircosoft will know if you've chipped your box and will ban you, i've had my box chipped for months and wouldn,t recommend going on live with a chipped box. Sorrry to spoil your fun.

Was only messin about the looks BTW

But a more realistic performance would be better.
