Offline | I think as with the previous mini mags, it will take a few issues to build up and get more content in there that is new and fresh, same as Mini World and Mini Mag, then I am sure that it will go to a monthly publcation, get more readership and also increase the numbers that enjoy the social side of the mini. I hope it just grows and grows, and doesn't take too much from mini2 and put it in there as their content, as I think Paul works really hard on making Mini2 a great site with so many exclusives for us. The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |

Offline | and they really don't stand much chance on keeping up with the news on mini2, as the web is more instant than a mag, so think they need to focus on mods, new accessories, and readers cars, and leave mini2 to tell us the news as it happens and how to fix our faults. Offline | I think a "Too Early To Judge" option would probably be a good one, because based on a small and possibly hurried (?) first issue it's a bit hard to judge. I'm staying tight lipped for the time being. ![]() There aint no party like my nana's tea party |

Offline | maybe a few pages in there from Mini2's Paul Mullet on the Mini rumour mill, things in the diary etc would be a great way to sell the news to us, that way too Mini2 gets some money pennies. The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |

| MINI2 Global Moderator | Definitely too early to comment, the first issues of Mini World weren't particularly good, neither was Mini Magazine. It's always a laugh looking at the letters section on new magazines, they must all be made up ![]() I'm sure someone will flame me for that! lol. ![]() the MINI has gone... |

Offline | ........ like the letter about the dealer telling someone that the whine their MINI was making was from the power steering! My first thought was that there wasn't a lot in the mag and that I can't see myself shelling out for it each time. £3.80 seems a bit over the top, especially as MiniWorld and MiniMag are "only" £3.40. My next thought was that if I subscribe I save money by getting a free issue over the course of a year, but you have to spend it to save it. There is always the worry that if you don't buy it you'll miss out on something - like the photos of my better half's car that were taken yesterday! MCS JCW CR/CR ; MOD LY/B |

| Nice TTs......... | Havent seen it yet............ ![]() On saying that, M2 will always be way ahead, because of the contacts Paul has in relation to scoops, and the cost issue (bar my phone bill ) and the fact that is is interactive and more absorbing...........![]() ![]() Global Moderator |

| Damned | No Disrespect intended Paul, But I much prefer the look of that Original Home Page to the One we are presnted with Today . I find that when I direct people to MINI2.com, they generally come back to me saying that its too confusing for a Home page & it took them a long time to Navigate, as they usually have to click on a "currently discussed" topic 1st, then go to the "Director" at the bottom of the page to select where they Really want. I do the Same. As has been said, a Magazine can Never replace the Live Feel & Community Spirit as found on this Site. Although I feel "Go Mini" is a welcome addition on the Newsagents shelves, MINI2 still remains the #1 MINI Web Site. ![]() ![]() In da Wud |

| Some have THICK skins!!!! | I too have subscribed and am awaiting the first issue. Having said that can it really be a bad thing to have a mag dedicated to just the "new" MINI? I havent got anything at all against the "Classic" mini but do I really want to shell out for a magazine AT LEAST 50% full of them rather than the car I actually bought the mag for and the car I have decided to own and drive. I think not. As has been said above many times its not a rival to MINI2 and nor can it be. For a start I cant see me making many new freinds through the pages unlike I seem to be doing here in a very short space of time. Secondly such is my appetite for the MINI at the moment a once a month mag could never satisfy me! MINI2 does a much better job of that - in fact now I'm satisfied (at least for now) think I will lie back in bed and have apres cigarette!!! Paul |

Offline | Imagine if there was a "Max Power" version of an all-MINI magazine.................crikey!!!!! I'm sure sales would skyrocket, but for all the wrong reasons - and the sight of jubblies poised with MINIs would most likely turn off our fine female contingent of MINI owners. How on earth does anyone see the cars in Max Power for the 'mounds' blocking them? ![]() |

Offline | Although its first issue failed to have the WHOW factor I thought it was an interesting read. The best I can say is -- Liken it to a good wine or spirit both of which IMPROVE with age . So I for one will give it a chance at least for the first years subscription and then make a final judgement![]() |

Offline | Just one more thought while we are all rushing to subscribe to GoMini, think of how much we all get from Paul's great site and for what cost, we are all willing to give £19 for a year of a new mag, how about we do the same for Mini2? http://www.mini2.com/donations/ The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |
