Offline | Just received the 26 page supplement from Autocar about the MINI. It's great! Thanks to Autocar and whomever posted here that we could request it by mail. I received it here in the colonies in less than a week..free! |

Offline | Sorry...don't remember the address or anything. It was in a post to the board a week ago or so. Surely somebody will recall it and let you know. It's a slick little magazine with stories about development, features, engineering, etc. It's a piece every one of us should have (except those disloyalists who keep considering Fords and VWs as anywhere close to our dearly anticipated MINIs). |

Offline | I just received a response from Gemma via e-mail and the response said "The supplement is only meant for overseas subscribers. I do not know how 2 different people have received the supplement without being a subscriber" So if you are not a subscriber how did you get the supplemental info? You must know someone! At this point I am frustrated and seek as much info on the MINI that I can lay my hands on. I have read everything so far, but seek more. Someone here stated that they got a booklet with photos on the MINI? Please advise where I can get such info here in the states! Frank - |

Offline | In the main magazine of that week it stated that if you were overseas and therefore didn't get the free supplement then contact the email address/phone number. Is subscription the only way to get Autocar overseas or can it be bought in newsagents? I dunno what to suggest apart from sucking up - I don't understand why they wouldn't send it out, after all it's only a tiny little magazine and wouldn't cost them more than a couple of quid - if they send out 20 of them to overseas MINI2 people and get one or two subscribers then it's a job well done for them! |

Offline | Mine just came in today's mail (I'm in Wilmington, NC). Thanks again for the original post about the offer. I'm not a subscriber, but did e-mail them immediately upon reading of the offer on this forum. |

Offline | Well, as of today, I still don't have the Autocar supplement copy I requested by phone just hours after Jakx kindly posted the information. Gemma took my address without asking for a subscriber number, but I don't know if she later had second thoughts and decided not to send me anything. If the free stuff doesn't arrive soon, my next plan is to order a single copy of the proper issue of Autocar with the MINI supplement. I imagine they'll sell a single copy, I know I've purchased single copies of AutoExpress - (a MINI-related issue of course). Which cover date is the issue? Before I buy the Autocar issue, can I ask if others who've seen the issue and the supplement if everyone agrees it is worth the cost? Good stuff? It will probably end up costing about £10 with shipping is my guess. Please take into account that I am sort of completely obsessed with the MINI. ![]() |
