United-Kingdom Mini needs new adverts in the UK..

It's about time they made some new Mini adverts, I loved the old ones where they showed the end of the ad first and everyone was confused and then they say "seconds ealier" and all is explained.

Now I keep seeing reruns of two naked old people driving a Mini and hitting the guy at the side of the road with a fish ..

Somehow this doesn't convey how fun, cool, retro and brilliant the Mini is. I've seen so many examples of videos on this forum which would make an excellent advert, in fact maybe they should use them.

Dunno how everyone else feels about this but for me get rid of the old people and bring in some fast paced action fun! After all that's what the Mini's all about!

Yea I realise that, surely it would just be great to have a cool ad to go with such a cool car?

Perhaps MINi should poach the Vauxhall Corsa creative team. Some of their ads are pretty good. especially the hide n seek one. Now if only MINI had done that!

I like the original MINI adverts. The one with the alien invasion was the best and really played on the 'it's a mini adventure' line. Now the odd fish slapping adverts look cheap by comparison.. they also remind me of the ikea ads in their style. MINI need to inject some coolness and production value back into their adverts. A transformer ad' to rival the Citroen C4 would be cool.
