Not rocket science really. More on the road means easier to buy means lower prices. The 3 series still does very well though, and I think the MINI will continue in a similar vein, with somewhat strange (probably over high in reality) residuals compared to the availability (but that's a good thing for us MINI owners!).

Yeah. I think there was a thread that talked about the residual values of the MINI. Perhaps the thread talking about the new investment in Oxford. Anyhoo....all you have to do is take a look at the 3er and you can sleep easy on future MINI residuals...

I wouldn't worry about it, it'll still be good. I owned two 3 series for eight years and read
articles by John Coates every three months predicting a big fall in prices for older 3 series
like mine. It never happened despite the 3 series being everywhere you look.

Some people are like a Slinky ........ not really good for anything, but you still can't help
but smile when you shove them down the stairs

Cayenne?! Yeah right! Dealers here couldn't sell that thing even with under-the-table discounts and prime financing. Get rid of that and throw in the 3er and then you have the correct list.
