This past Sunday, Team Mighty Miniz played a gracious host in the canyons to Speed Channel's new show Street Tuner Challenge. They will be runing two segments on the MINI lifestyle. The Track and The Canyons. Please tune in and check out the killer footage we mustered up.
We were extremely thourough in soaking the film crew with our lateral G forces and witty humor.

Short of kraft services, and the occasional separation of the group, everything couldn't have been more perfect! I cant wait to see the 8 hours of tape edited down into the final product. Thanks to everyone who participated and signed their soul to Speed Channel. Thanks also to my band, Interface, for graciously infusing the segment with auditory electronic blips and analog vomit.

Can anyone give me more info on this? I get the speed channel, but at 7:30pm TV guide (tvguide.com) says that it's "Street Tuner Challenge". Something about Southern California customizing shops competing to build the ultimate sport compact. Oh yeah, and don't forget it's all presented by the "street tuner girls".

Doesn't sound too much like the right program to me...

I'm in the US and on the East Cost (EST time). I've checked a few hours before and back, but nothing...

First episode had a brief blurb of MINIs
BUT there was a teaser for next week... Does Size matter?

That is the segmet we've been placed in. the show is based on tuner time attack... builds and competition.

Speed Channel, Producers of STC, found us at our first MINI Challenge on May 8th. interviewed some members/drivers for the series. Then they dug the footage enough that they called up Sam and scheduled an afternoon of video shooting through the canyons. This came to about 8 hours of filming. This will be chopped into more or less a 5 minute segment.

Imagine that.

Anyhow July 6th

Neat segment, tho' I was luck to catch it..I tuned in at 7:30, saw the street tuner challenge info w/ no mention of a MINI, but was flipping channels at about 7:55 and saw the "coming right up"....they were in the very last minutes (unless I missed another segment?).
