| 220 of your finest horses | I thought The Go Drive Favourite Road section was particularly fine this month Although all the funniest jokes and wittiest, insightful comments seem to have been edited out They left the typo in though, which was nice of them S ![]() And as the pics were a little small heres my fave S ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Must say Steve, I opened mine up as usual when I got home, flicked through and skimmed most of it as I normally do, just before it was chucked under the coffee table with a grumble oh why do I buy this, I clocked a rather excellent article about going to the ring ![]() ![]() ![]() Really gave me an insight into how committed you have to be to get there, and how anyone that does also needs to be committed Great write up, about time there was something in there worth reading other than the crap answers to letters.Anyone see the one about how a 15 second hold up of the passenger window switch will give you one touch up and down opening They just get better and better, I thought last months about their being no problems on the convertible roof was good, but oh what can next month hold for us![]() The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |

Offline | Is it me or does this magazine seem come out every fortnight? They always seems to feature bog standard MINIs on the front cover with a snappy headline but with no more adventurous modifications than a set of aftermarket alloys (yawn). |

| MINI2 Regular | Go Mini I usually scan the mag to begin with then read the articles in more detail. I submitted a personal interest article about my experience with MINI and I must say that they have been very slooooow to respond -- even to acknowledge receipt. Which every other magazine I've written for have done. It is certainly a slick looking mag but I'm beginning to question the substance. Is it really worth the $10 it costs here in the US. I have other things I could do with that $10 ---about 120 miles come to think of it ![]() ![]() |

| 220 of your finest horses | As with most things I think we have to work with the guys at Go Mini to produce a mag we want to read every month. If we are bored by write ups about cities and tuning companies perhaps we should ask them for what we do want. This type of niche publishing survives by adapting to it's readers desires. If you want to read abot something, there is a good chance that other Mini-sters will as well, just tell 'em. Personally, I want them to do a day in the life of Rakey (especially if he happens to be in China at the time )S ![]() ![]() |

Offline | i find it well a bit mediocer as the writing lacks any edge there is no good or bad within the performace reviews of the cars and to what depth of our beloved car dose their knowlage extened as every month i has more and more 'a day in the life' and is turning into a dare i say it 'lifestlye' mag now im not asking for a miracle but .......... a clear direction could be better as it seems very flimsy (p.s and for the diy section well it dosent make me too confident when i see it compared to what some flok have posted on here about how too do stuff)thats my 2 pence on it the most of the £5 whent on that mag ![]() |
