USA 2006 MINI website up today look!! with all the new colors. i love the space blue and the pepper white MCC.

is it just me or did they add a lot to the premium package?

i know i didn't get the H/K sound system with mine

but at least i've got EB! i'm not so happy with the '06 colors.

My spec came out to be $35,000 and yes! You've got to have JCW!!! What's up with the checkmate package? Is it just me, or does that not look all that great? Yeah, yeah...I'm boring.

they force you to buy the sport or checkmate package to order the factory JCW package?

also, when you add the JCW package, the total doesn't increase.

It's soooo sad there is no more EB!!!

That space blue is icky! Looks like a mix of blue and green IMO. I definetly like the HB way better than SB.

I know this is completely off the topic but I have pictures of my new MINI and I tried to upload them on here yesterday and it said the files were too large for the site. How on earth do I make them smaller??? Please forgive me, I don't know diddly about digital cameras...

What format are they in (i.e. .jpg , .gif , .bmp). If they are a .bmp, convert them to .jpg . That might help...

I just took a look at the new configurator. what is with that Royal Grey???? The complaints about Space Blue are nothing compared to that. That is a new color right? I know sometimes the colors look better in person but that one needs a whole lot of help to look better in my opinion.

And why does the Cooper have more color choices than the S? The only color the MC doesn't have that the MCS has is DS while MC has LY and Solar Red that the MCS doesn't have.

The more I see, the more I have to say. I like the silver roof and cool silver stripes options.

There is a picture resizer tool available free from Microsoft. Just Google for picture resizer and it should take you right there.

Then all you have to do is right click on the picture to resize it.

If you check out here Mini2 has a page about the three new models (seven, park lane, and checkmate) and lots of pictures of each. More importantly, they show the real color of the 3 new colors, and they look much much much better than the miniusa.com representation of them in the config.

Well the checkmate is. And the Silver roof and stripes and English panther Black leather of the Park Lane are available. We still don't have the One and I don't see the 7 extras other than the Solar Red color.

The Checkmate package is available, but the special models are not available.
