Just to let everyone know that the MINI Challenge event at Donnington Park this year will be a MINI Festival organised by Total Track - with a little help from me

The date is Sunday 5 August

The Challenge team want to get over 300 mini's on track at the same time, which will be a world record attempt - so everyone is welcome to join in the fun.

We are currently putting together a list of things that will be happening, apart from some great racing obviously as there will be:

MINI Challenge
Radical Enduro/BiDuro
Sport Maxx Cup
Mini 7
WestField
Britcar

so a packed event !!!

Oh and Mini Pirate will be there so you can come along and buy some great decals

Will the Guiness World Record People be attending this meeting ? Also does the record stand on a race track?????
Would be intrested in going to this.
Was great fun at Oulton Park o the parade lap there

mick not sure if GBoR will be in attendence but will find out.

Oulton Park was good but I was working in the paddock when you were all having fun!!!

Hi Phil I've just read this thread with great interest.

Don't know if you aware of the World Record attempt of 300 Mini's together, that I am currently organising.

envy - that is the link I posted above, the home page for the Challenge has the corner flash link on it.

There wil be a lot going on, and I will be in the Paddock mending the (damage) graphics to the Challenge cars - so don't be shy - please say hello

Do you just buy tickets on the day? I wanted to book mine on the website but doesn't seem to be an option. I have got the mini 2 for 1 ticket, so do I just show them that at the gate? What time do we need to get there ideally?

I went to Donington last year for the MINI challenge and went on the parade lap. I am hoping to go this year. You can buy tickets on the day and you go through a certain entrance to get into the middle of the track and assemble there. I think it was at Coppice Corner where you go through.

300 is too many. It'll be like a traffic jam. Much better when you can take a few bends at a reasonable speed.
