Is anyone going to watch the MINI Challenge at Thruxton on Sun 22nd July?

Unfortunately I wont be attending this round - but back at the Donny round for the Mini Festival

yea i am going to watch love watching MINI's race and will mean even more to me now i have sat in one with a race driver and gone around the track! whao fast!

Newbie and first post.

Actually, I attended this event (my first ever). Terrific stuff. I took a bunch of images which can be viewed at:: (www).photobox.co.uk/album/6110459. Not great quality, but hopefully captures the day.

was a fab day with nice weather, they did charge to get in everywhere though so wont go to Thruxton again!

Seems like the qualifying on Saturday is free for paddock transfers and cheaper entry (see BARC website), though I went on race day and ordered tics online for grandstand/paddock/entry. Weather was kind. The trucks were great (IMHO) and the Mini Challenge was one large field which made for great spectator viewing. The Radicals were . . . radical!

Will have to go back for the 600cc bikes and touring cars later in the year.

Its a good circuit is Thruxton. Not many decent places to watch.

Race 2 was quite funny, about 10 cars had punctures! Comedy sized kerbs at church and club are a bit of a nightmare.

i loved watching the trucks! more than the MINI's. Looking forward to Brands now, paddock hill is the best!
