Offline | I would think there should be plenty of tickets left. It costs £12 per person on the gate and £10 if you book in advance but I think today was the last day you could have ordered tickets. I saw somewhere that EVO magazine were something to do with the Hot Hatch Parade but I couldn't see anything on their website. Does anyone have anymore details about this? I'll be there for both days. |

Offline | Went to the track day earlier today at brands, and went out as a passenger in the Cooper S Challenge car. Absolutely amazing, never been so scared in a car in my life! Can't believe how fast they drive those things, and they get so close to each other! Other cars were out on the track as well, and someone totalled an '07 reg 911 GT3 RS, rolled it twice! Bet he was sick, just looked on Porsche's website and those things cost 95K. |

Offline | rolling a car on a track day is quite rare. with it being your first track day if poss book an instructor they cost about 35 pounds or so .they will show you the right lines braking points and good advice.just take it easy at first .hope you enjoy your first of many track days ![]() |

Offline | My friend goes all the time and the worst he's seen is a couple of cars skidding into the gravel, so I guess rolling cars is probably quite rare. It was unbelievable how quick the MINI Challenge cars are, at one point we overtook a 911 Carrera 4S, plus easily had the Civic Type R in front of us and a Cateram 7! Those drivers are something else, I really didnt appreciate how quick they are going until I actually went out in one of their cars! Absolutely gobsmacked after today. I have been given a Ferrari track day experience at Goodwood for my birthday so I can't wait to get out there ![]() |

| MINI2 Master | i went along today to the EVO track day as down the road from me, heres pics of the GT3 RS and also a couple of challenge cars, However got to say on the straigts there was a standard looking 03 MCS that was quicker than all the Challenge cars, they were a little dissapointing if you ask me, Oh and fastest car of the day was the Golf Mk2 with turbo lump in it, it was pulling lengths on the Radicals along the straight, thats how quick it was, although the guy in it is local and a regular on Brands track days. Won't be going on sunday , but your best off going on a track day as you get to walk around the pits all day and you see more of the minis on the track etc, oh and its free to turn up and watch and you get to park in the pits etc. So heres a couple ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Haha thats the challenge car I went out in! That poor Porsche though, totally wrecked. Mind, if you can afford to spend 95 grand on a car, you can probably also afford to pay track day insurance, or failing that, buy another one. |
