Is anyone going to Brands Hatch next weekend for the final round of the MINI Challenge? I hope to go for both days.

Kent And East Sussex MINI Club will be there - on Sunday lunchtime there is a 'hot hatch' parade, the first 100 'hot hatches' through the gates get to take part in.

I would think there should be plenty of tickets left. It costs £12 per person on the gate and £10 if you book in advance but I think today was the last day you could have ordered tickets. I saw somewhere that EVO magazine were something to do with the Hot Hatch Parade but I couldn't see anything on their website. Does anyone have anymore details about this? I'll be there for both days.

Can't make it for the races at the weekend but am going along friday to have a ride in the challange car round brands. Anyone else gonna be there for this?

Went to the track day earlier today at brands, and went out as a passenger in the Cooper S Challenge car. Absolutely amazing, never been so scared in a car in my life! Can't believe how fast they drive those things, and they get so close to each other! Other cars were out on the track as well, and someone totalled an '07 reg 911 GT3 RS, rolled it twice! Bet he was sick, just looked on Porsche's website and those things cost 95K.

thanks for scaring more like! got my first track day in 4 weeks, are there any track day regulars out there to tell me rolling a car is a rare event.
